Episode 4 : Selepas Jingking Berlarian
Kemarin malam aku menyisir pantai. Bersua dengan pasir dan bercinta dengan angin laut. Bulan hanya purnama & masih mengirimkan cahayanya. Supaya ada sedikit terang. Agar hadir bayang-bayang.
Ah, kenapa? Ombak masih saja seperti dulu. Mampu menghanyutkan hal-hal yang sentimentil. Tapi aku tahu, ia sebenarnya perkasa dalam heningnya.
Senja tadi, jingking berlari bersama bunga rumput grinting melesut di pasir putih selepas seorang anak kecil mengejarnya untuk dipersembahkan pada ayahnya yang tengah duduk di bawah gubug melihat laut mengecap-kecap masa mudanya yang begitu cepat larut.
Dan aku juga menjagakanmu saat ini. Karena aku sedang sakit. Aku dalam lemah. Aku butuh membayangkanmu melabuhkan semua rasaku ke tengah samudera. Jujur, ini lebih dari sekedar menghibur. Ini menguatkan.
Pada suatu waktu aku ingin membayangkan jingking yang dikejar anak kecil berlarian di atas pasir agar ia dapat mempersembahkan mimpi pada ayahnya yang menunggunya di bawah gubug pada suatu senja ketika aku melaut nanti.

Surat Buat Pak Gubernur
Saya terbiasa menggunakan fasilitas trotoar selama ini di Jakarta. Entah kenapa kok rasa-rasanya trotoar di sini tidak user friendly. Usabililty yang buruk. Sejujurnya saya seneng jalan kaki secara saya males berolahraga. Jadi aktifitas yang satu ini dapat dikatakan ‘sambil menyelam minum air’. Namun kok fasilitas buat para pejalan kaki kayaknya nggak digarap serius. Saya bayangkan Jepang ato NY yang trotoarnya nyaman buat para pejalan kaki. Hal ini secara tidak langsung juga akan mengurangi penggunaan kendaraan pribadi (eh, betul nggak sih).
Saya sebenarnya sudah lama pengen kirim surat masukan ke Bang Yos apa Pemprov DKI tentang pengalaman saya sebagai pejalan kaki dan penghuni a.k.a pendatang di kota besar Jakarta ini. Finally, kemaren nulis juga surat ke Bang Yos via website. Ini saya copy-paste dari postingan saya.
Konser Suffocation (Akhirnya) Diundur
Ternyata gara-gara banjir, saya kena getahnya juga. Suffocation batal maen. Saya tahu pertama dari rilis websitenya. Harusnya tinggal besok Minggu (11/02/07). Tapi ternyata ‘forced to cancel’. Sampai waktu yang entah. Saya udah telpon Mipro dan emang konsernya diundur. Tapi tadi sempat nelpon tiket box di rawamangun dan mereka gak tahu. Tolong Mipro segera sounding ke temen2. .. Hix…what can i say… My head is suspended for banging!
Untung belum jadi beli tiketnya. Sepertinya mengulang lagu lama saja. Band-band metal yang berhalangan datang. Tapi it’s still the most awaiting band in my lizt. It’s still. Buat Mipro : tetep jangan patah arang. Support 4 u guyz!! We’ll wait.

Flood In Jakarta
Friday (06-02-2007), it was a heavy day. Jakarta was sinking slowly but sure. Everybody didn’t go to work. Some had to take care of their houses. Some had so indulged for going to work on an aquoeus street. Some had traped in the middle of the flood. And several people indulged to go home since it”s heavy rained. Like me. I had already slept at the office. So, i automatically prepared working in next morning when Jakarta had its first flood. So if I went home the nite before, i would certainly couldn’t (or won’t) go to office at crowded wet Friday morning.
At Sunday (08-02-2007), I went with several friends around Jakarta. I felt that i’d do something. Anything. Then we agreed to bring something to refugee. We headed to Petamburan as a friend had referred there. Not much we couldnt help them. But refugee in Petamburan has been lacking of supplies such as food and clean water. So I hope it meant to them. I wrote it here.
From the TV news i knew that the government was too slowly to act.

Is a Journey is A Poem?

When u’re looking for poem in a film, maybe close to Dead Poem Society, then u’ve to take a look to this movie. Man on The Train is beautifully touching French’s film that reveals the hidden passion of a man, while he has what so called second change. French’s films is kinda beautifull ones which kill u slowly.
Its beginning with a train. Fast scenery from a moving window, and sound of iron tire on a massive reel collecting a distant mysterious sound. When a man called Milan (Johnny Hallyday) was disembarking from a train in a quiet lonely town, he meet a local people named Manesquier (Jean Rochefort). The ordinary good Manesquier refer his new friend place to stay in his house. Hotel was closed due to lack of tourist in November.
They basically were two different kind of men. Milan tended to silent, not to ask question and a traveler. His purpose in that small town was to robe its local bank. On the contrary, Manesquier was talkative and conservative indeed. He is an old retired poetry teacher. A man with his daily life : read a book, play piano and shopping a bread at near store.
Their interaction is the main part of this movie. One shared their experience to other. Milan learnt to like poems and rode a book. He enjoyed settling in Manesquier’s big old 18th century house. While the owner had his ‘wild guy conversation’ has well responded by his guest. His ambition was to be a bad guy sometimes. Something to break his routine life. To explore different continents and never drop the anchor.
He knew then, Milan was a robber, but instead of drive out his guess, he liked and offered some help : a strange old politeness. And Milan knew how to thank, how to learn an ordinary life. They both shared their long awaited passions and dreams.
